5.56 Green Tip M855 in Bulk, 1000 Rounds and Up

5.56 green tip M855 in bulk is the most asked-for rifle ammo in our shop, so we keep it by the case. M855, also sold under the NATO name SS109, is a 62 grain full metal jacket with a steel penetrator tip painted green. It runs in any 5.56 NATO or .223 Wylde chamber with a 1:7 or 1:8 twist.

What we stock

• MKE 5.56 SS109 battle packs: Turkish NATO-contract production, brass case, boxer primed, 450-round battle packs and 2250-round cases.
• BVAC remanufactured Lake City M855: loaded on once-fired Lake City brass, sold in 500-round cases. Condition is remanufactured, not factory new, and we say so on the product page.
• Federal American Eagle XM855: Lake City factory new, when we have it.

Counts on every product page are live. If it says in stock, it is on the shelf at 3841 N 36th Ave, Phoenix.

Buying 1000 rounds or more

Shipping is charged by weight, so one bigger box beats two smaller ones. Ammunition ships UPS Ground only, usually within one business day. See where we ship for your state. Phoenix customers can call 480-623-4515 and pick up instead.

Green tip and your range

Many indoor ranges ban steel-core ammunition because it damages backstops. Check your range's rule before you bring M855. For range days that ban it, see our other 5.56 loads.
