.223 Remington Ammo

.223 Remington is the civilian cartridge behind the AR-15. It's used for target shooting, practice, varmints and predators, and with its light recoil it's one of the easiest centerfire rifle rounds to shoot a lot of.

We carry PMC Bronze 223A: a 55-grain full metal jacket boat-tail bullet that PMC rates at 2,900 fps from a 16-inch barrel and 3,200 fps from a 24-inch. Bronze is PMC's range line, the load to buy in bulk for practice, drills and teaching new shooters. It's sold by the 20-round box, in 200 and 500-round packs, and by the 1,000-round case.

.223 or 5.56? A rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO can fire .223 Remington. Firing 5.56 in a rifle marked .223 only is not recommended, because 5.56 runs at higher pressure. Check your barrel stamp. If your rifle is 5.56, see our 5.56x45mm NATO ammo too.

You must be 21 or older to order. Orders ship from our Phoenix shop by UPS Ground, and shipping is charged by weight. See where we ship for state rules.
