7.62x39mm Ammo

7.62x39mm is the cartridge of the AK-47 and SKS, and it's also chambered in the Ruger Mini-30, the CZ Bren 2 and AR-pattern rifles built for it. It throws a 120 to 125-grain bullet at moderate speed with mild recoil, and it's one of the most affordable centerfire rifle rounds to shoot in volume.

We carry two 123-grain full metal jacket loads. American Quality W762X39123VP250 is brass-cased and sold as a 250-round case. Precision One 1823 is a new-production steel-case load made in the USA, sold as a 500-round case.

Brass or steel: brass cases can be reloaded; steel cases cost less and are what most AK owners feed for practice. Some indoor ranges don't allow steel-case ammo, so check with yours before you go. Both are practice ammunition for zeroing, drills and range days.
