7.62x54R Ammo

7.62x54mmR is the rimmed Russian rifle cartridge that dates to 1891 and is still in service. Most American shooters fire it from a Mosin-Nagant, but it's also chambered in the SVT-40 and Dragunov-pattern rifles.

We carry Wolf Military Classic MC76254R148B: a 148-grain load with a bimetal jacket, steel case and Berdan primer that Wolf lists at 2,740 fps. Military Classic is Wolf's economy steel-case line, priced so you can keep a surplus rifle shooting. The steel case and Berdan primer mean these cases aren't for reloading.

It comes in a 20-round box and 200 and 500-round cases. A case is the way to go if you take your Mosin out more than once a season. Some indoor ranges don't allow steel-case or bimetal-jacket ammunition, so check with yours first.

You must be 21 or older to order. Orders ship from our Phoenix shop by UPS Ground, and shipping is charged by weight. See where we ship for state rules.
